poem

Ironic isn't it? That when words fail music speaks
Each track takes on a new meaning of being unique
Playing those songs, hit repeat, they remind me of you
Giving myself wholly to you, my heart you shall accrue

Eyes staring into space, liryc's* swimming in my head
So easy to feel this way, yet it's so hard to be said
Each love song listened to, reminding me only of you
Smiling, for we've got a whole lifetime to look forward to

Thinking that for once, maybe Cupid finally got it right
Dart doesn't taste poisoned, gazing at you; heart ignites
Wrapped in a secure embrace, let out a comforted sigh
With every passing day can feel my emotions intensify

Everything reminds me of you, jokes, words, every room
Blazing fire inside this heart, so passionately it consumes
Knowing that in your loving arms, everything will be okay
Your love like a summer leaf, it shines brighter every day

Two hearts melded together, hopefully to stay entwined
For this is something I've never felt before, so sublime
If this is puppy love, then I cant handle the real thing
Bathing in a sea of bliss, enjoying everything you bring

Ironic isn't it? That the same songs remind you of me
Curled up together, we're both flying in such ecstasy
Meant for one another, for together we can't go wrong
Instead of hitting repeat, let's make our own love song
