poem

Well sleep dear of weep
Well sleep dear and keep
Coffins dreamful, ditches deep
Well sleep dear of weep

Sail and row things no more
Barely sighted on no shore
Of barren oysters and pearls cheap
Well sleep dear of weep

Shade my heart torment grave
Pitiless agony, weakness brave
And the naught you gain and reap
Well sleep dear of weep

Leave the garden and every yard
Flowers are thorns scented hard
Either birds are falcons steep
Well sleep dear of weep

Sometimes in winters lost
Sometimes in autumn frost
But not in warmth do I sweep
Well sleep dear of weep

Well sleep dear of weep
Well sleep dear and keep
Grief stays, groans unseep
Well sleep dear of weep
